Bill

BILL tells the story of how hopeless lute player Bill Shakespeare leaves his family and home to follow his dream. It's a tale of murderous kings, spies, lost loves, and a plot to blow up Queen Elizabeth. Can one man prove the quill is mightier than the sword?

IMDB

I play the part of a coutier and Palace Guest. That wispy goatee was the bane of my life, and of make-up, because it kept coming off!

I also learned what a 'camera wipe' is - because I had to do one. Long days and hard work but a great deal of fun with a great cast and a superb crew.

Tudor costume - would be hopelessy impractical today. The wispy goatee - apparently facial hair was almost compulsory for older men.
